Official sourceOfficial entry point for reporting a move to Sweden. Covers the population register, when registration is generally expected (planned stay of one year or more), the "Flytta till Sverige" e-service, and in-person identity checks at state service centres.
Migrationsverket
Official sourceCore free-movement page: EU/EEA citizens may stay up to three months with only a valid passport/national ID; beyond three months, right of residence generally requires working, running a business, studying, or sufficient funds. People with right of residence do not need to contact Migrationsverket.
Skolverket (Utbildningsguiden)
